Qualifications

• JD (Juris Doctorate) and current attorney license required.
• Generally, 2 to 6 years of related experience.
• Experience in litigation, insurance coverage, employment practices, or claims adjusting would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle an inventory of claim files and perform detailed claim analysis.
• Evaluate coverage and liability, issue written opinions, and monitor files toward resolution.
• Hires and coordinates defense counsel, develops litigation and resolution strategies, and may participate in arbitrations/mediations.
