Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license, in good standing.
• 3–5 years in general liability, insurance defense, or business litigation (probate a plus).
• Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Sense of humor appreciated; creative, lighthearted approach from leadership.

Responsibilities

• Handle general liability, business litigation, malpractice defense, and probate cases.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, motions, depositions, and trial prep.
• Draft and review pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with partners and support staff to ensure high-quality legal work.
