Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing is required.
• 0–5 years of legal experience; construction defect experience preferred but not required.
• Strong legal research, writing, communication and organizational skills.
• Client-focused, results-driven demeanor with public speaking ability.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative and accept feedback.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research and writing for assigned matters.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, memoranda, and correspondence.
• Assist through all phases of litigation from pre-litigation to trial and post-resolution tasks.
• Prepare matters for mediations, depositions, hearings, and court appearances (in person or remote).
• Manage discovery requests, review documents, and maintain organized case files.
• Communicate with clients, participate in status meetings, and support colleagues and vendors.
