Jobot is seeking a Permanent Associate Attorney to focus on creditor rights within the mortgage industry. Responsibilities include handling foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin matters, with a no-billables structure and competitive salary.

The ideal candidate is licensed in Kentucky with at least 3 years of experience, strong negotiation and research skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney focusing on creditor rights.
• Experience in foreclosure, financial institutions, bankruptcy, and replevin.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Knowledge of the mortgage industry and its laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Representing our organization in all legal matters related to creditor rights.
• Providing legal advice and guidance on foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Developing and implementing strategies to safeguard the organization's legal and financial interests.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our organization.
• Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations related to the mortgage industry and creditor rights.
• Providing training and guidance to other team members on legal matters related to creditor rights.
