Job summary

Michigan Farm Bureau is seeking an Associate Application Developer to research, analyze, design, develop, test, and implement automated application systems supporting the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies. The role includes participating in system design and solution development.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with the development team to achieve delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, programming languages and tools, testing techniques and tools, and program specification and interpretation is required.
• Working knowledge of systems design and analysis tools and techniques is required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively; willingness to pursue continuing job-related training in systems and insurance.

Responsibilities

• To apply and further develop the skills necessary to research, analyze, design, develop, test and implement automated applications systems which support the business needs of the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies.
• Participate in system design and solution development.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development team to achieve team delivery goals.
