Job summary

CU Boulder’s Enrollment Management invites applications for the Assistant Director of Visitor Experience. This role leads design, planning, and execution of signature visit experiences, championing tour design, innovative programming, and visitor engagement to elevate the campus story and improve applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination acceptable.
• Minimum 5 years in visitor experience, event management, enrollment/engagement operations, or related fields.
• Experience supervising student or professional staff.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with attention to detail.
• Use of data to inform visitor strategies and staffing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of CU Boulder’s signature visit experiences.
• Oversee end-to-end logistics for large-scale campus tours and events.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Marketing, and CASE to align messaging and scheduling.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and facilities to ensure high-quality experiences.
• Ensure accessibility and inclusive storytelling across all visitor programs.
