Job summary

Headquarters Kansas seeks an Assistant Director of Crisis Services in Lawrence, KS for a full-time, exempt role. The position leads the Crisis Center operations, collaborates with the Clinical Consultant, and reports to the Executive Director. Travel to local/state/national meetings is required, with hybrid work options.

Primary hours are Mon–Fri 9am–5pm; some evenings/weekends for on-call rotation. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field.
• Current Kansas license through Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as an LMSW or equivalent.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to provide direction to implement program objectives.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and oral communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Crisis Center operations, 24/7, including call center and chat/text teams.
• Lead development of program infrastructure and trauma-informed care systems.
• Provide clinical and operational leadership to achieve performance goals.
• Build partnerships with community stakeholders for referrals and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and grant deliverables.
