Job summary

HUB International in Annapolis, MD is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support Commercial Lines operations. You will assist Account Managers and Producers, prepare proposals, and coordinate carrier communications to deliver accurate presentations for clients.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and attention to detail as you maintain account data in the agency management system and support day-to-day service for a diverse client base. Hybrid schedule offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Exce llent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
• Mastery of virtual technology, including meeting scheduling, video display and screen sharing.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• High level attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Managers and Producers in gathering information regarding new/existing accounts and submitting to carriers for proposals.
• Review proposals from carriers, create spreadsheets, make recommendations, and place in proposal presentation.
• Assist Producer with coordinating workflow between internal staff, clients and carriers.
• Process changes in coverage as requested by customers.
• Update all account information in the agency management system.
• Serve as a backup to the office receptionist.
• Attend and complete training sessions as required.
• Present a professional image as a representative of the company.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with co-workers and management.
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous manner.
• Conform with all regulations, policies, and instructions.
• Complete all assigned tasks or projects as needed.
• Other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
