Job summary

Bankers Trust Co. is seeking an Asset/Liability Analyst I or II in Des Moines, IA, to support financial and balance-sheet management through detailed data analysis. Analysts will act as internal consultants across lines of business and may present to management, with II handling more complex analyses.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–2 years of experience. Hybrid work eligibility is available, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Math, or Data Analysis or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of financial or data analysis experience preferred (can include internships).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
• Experience with macros preferred.
• Advanced problem solving and analysis skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis to support management of the Bank's balance sheet.
• Conducts margin analysis.
• Assists in the preparation for asset/liability committee meetings.
• Assists in completion of the Bank-wide budget.
• Conducts Peer analysis.
• Supports management with analysis needs.
• Performs other duties as requested.
