Job summary

Marsden Services seeks an Area Manager for Spokane Valley to lead day-to-day operations, coach frontline teams, and maintain strong client relationships. This hybrid role focuses on delivering contracted services across multiple sites while pursuing growth opportunities.

You will supervise staffing, ensure safety compliance, and partner with sales to expand services. Strong leadership, communication, and a drive for results are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of management experience leading frontline service employees across multiple sites.
• Experience in janitorial or facility services is preferred.
• Experience with client-facing responsibilities or business development is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Regular travel within the Spokane regional market.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned accounts, ensuring cleanliness standards and contract scope are met.
• Serve as the primary client contact and proactively resolve issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop frontline associates and supervisors to drive performance and retention.
• Ensure safety compliance through audits, training, and accountability.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll processes.
• Monitor service delivery and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and support new business development.
• Build and maintain a network of local business contacts and partner with sales on growth initiatives.
