ms consultants, inc. seeks a Business Project Manager Architecture/MEP to lead a Building Systems team in Columbus, OH (also Pittsburgh, PA or Raleigh, NC). You will supervise multidisciplinary projects from conception to completion, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and foster strong client relationships.

This role partners with the Building Systems SVP to drive growth and project success. The ideal candidate brings proven client account leadership, budget/fee management, and conflict

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or ABET-accredited engineering.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and client accounts.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business and production operations for projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage relationships within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Track production hours per phase and coordinate with technical leaders.
• Maintain billing projections within 5% of actuals and oversee client invoices with accounting.
• Support business development and client acquisition strategies.
• Lead preparation of fee proposals and contractual agreements; negotiate fees with clients and technical leaders.
• Mediate scope and fee disagreements and negotiate contract changes as needed.
• Facilitate weekly project reviews focusing on schedule, costs, and profitability.
