Job summary

DLR Group in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Architect to lead day-to-day design and technical development of projects within our integrated design team. You will coordinate project documentation, collaborate with the PM, ensure schedules and budgets, and contribute to high-quality deliverables across multiple scales.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Architecture, at least six years of professional experience, licensure, and proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and rendering tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; graduate degree not required unless licensure mandates.
• Minimum of six years of professional architecture experience.
• Professional licensure required; LEED AP and other certifications are a plus but not required.
• Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, rendering software, MS Office and Adobe Suite.
• Strong technical design ability to investigate, evaluate and propose client-focused solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to multitask and ensure quality.
• Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day design and technical development of projects.
• Coordinate project drawings, specs and documentation with the team and PM.
• Foster collaboration within project teams and generate innovative design ideas.
• Apply advanced architectural concepts to complex assignments.
• Integrate QA/QC procedures and ensure BIM standards are followed.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff and manage meeting deadlines.
• Participate in client presentations to support successful project outcomes.
