Job summary

Citi in Irving, Texas is seeking an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to contribute to new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices, collaborating with technology groups to address issues, ensure secure design, and deliver robust software, while operating with a degree of autonomy and under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in an Apps Development role.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Java and Microservices.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures to identify and implement system enhancements.
• Consult with users and other tech groups on issues and recommend programming solutions.
• Apply foundational knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and conduct testing and debugging.
• Serve as advisor to junior analysts and provide guidance.
