Job summary

Choice Hotels International is seeking a Data Scientist 3, Applied AI, to advance predictive analytics and AI capabilities across Marketing, Loyalty, Global Sales, Finance, Franchise Development, eCommerce, and Brands.

You will lead enterprise modeling initiatives, develop geospatial analyses, and collaborate with IT and Data Delivery to support real-time ML and generative AI on an AWS-based analytics platform. Strong Python/SQL and ML background required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytical experience with predictive modeling, regression, segmentation, clustering, and time series analysis.
• Hands-on experience building with large language models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Lead modeling initiatives driving enterprise decisions with statistical models and AI.
• Deliver timely ad hoc analyses and product presentations, including geospatial analyses.
• Collaborate with IT and Data Delivery to enhance infrastructure for real-time, ML, and generative AI.
• Deploy solutions using AWS services such as Redshift, Athena, S3, SageMaker AI, Bedrock, and AgentCore.
• Research cutting-edge methodologies and upskill the team, including AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code.
