Job summary

The Franklin County Auditor’s Office is seeking an Application Developer to join its IT team in Columbus, OH. You will develop web applications, gather requirements, write server- and client-side code in .NET and React, and build data transformation and ETL workflows to support county services.

You will generate reports against SQL Server databases, collaborate across teams on projects, maintain code and deploy fixes, and provide application support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management systems, or related discipline.
• Three (3) or more years of application development related experience and/or training.
• Experience with SQL Server administration, SSIS, SQL, T-SQL, ETL, XML and IIS administration.
• Experience with modern client-side web technologies (HTML5, CSS3); .NET and JavaScript; Entity Framework, React, GraphQL, APIs, and Python is a plus.
• Experience with version control (GitHub, Microsoft TFS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develops web applications for internal and external use in .NET and React. Gathers requirements, writes server- and client-side code, and builds ETL procedures.
• Generates reports against SQL Server databases and collaborates with coworkers to ensure data accuracy for business analysis.
• Maintains existing source code and deploys incremental improvements and bug fixes.
• Leads application support and troubleshooting as required.
• Analyzes data to assist business units in troubleshooting data issues.
