Fourth Floor in New York City is seeking an Apparel Planner to support the Apparel Planning Manager in developing and implementing strong merchandise strategies and inventory plans for their Denim department. This role is based in our NYC corporate office (4 days in office/1 day remote).

The Planner will collaborate across Merchandising, Retail, Digital/Ecommerce, Logistics, Wholesale, Production, Design and PR, with a 5-7 year background in apparel planning and advanced Excel skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in planning, merchandising, and/or buying in apparel.
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong grasp of retail math.
• Strong analytical, planning, and forecasting capabilities.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.
• Ability to take initiative and be accountable.

Mansioni

• Weekly reporting and comparative analysis of department sales by channel/location/classification/style.
• Re-forecast OTB monthly and coordinate receipt targets with Allocators; advise on RTVs, promos, markdowns, and transfers.
• Manage markdown pricing by country to maximize sell-through and profitability.
• Review and approve allocations and replenishment tied to monthly OTB targets.
• Create assortment and SKU plans by classification for Ecommerce and 50+ stores; advise on style rankings and depth.
• Assist in improving planning processes and train new hires to grow the team.
