Job summary

David Yurman seeks a detail-oriented Inventory and Demand Planner to optimize inventory levels and forecast demand across Retail and E-commerce networks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, 3–5 years’ experience in demand planning, and proficiency with Excel and Logility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, sales forecasting and analysis.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and experience with demand planning and inventory management systems (e.g., Logility).

Responsibilities

• Sales & Inventory Analysis: Demand and assortment planning at the Style and SKU level to ensure omnichannel store and e-commerce networks’ bulk orders are placed timely to meet demand.
• Weekly Order Projections: Update and manage projected weekly orders to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Inventory Review: Analyze door inventory and sell-through rates to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Store Stock Monitoring: Monitor store stock levels at the SKU level to optimize inventory and maintain healthy stock.
• Forecasting Parameter Changes in Logility: Recommend changes to inventory and replenishment parameters based on sales forecasts.
• Store Stock Requests: Fulfill store stock requests to support upcoming events and customer needs.
• Product Replenishment Strategy: Develop and maintain an efficient product replenishment strategy to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Analytical Dashboards: Build and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics for decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Merchant Buyers and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy and ensure replenishment to maximize sales.
