Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking an Allocation Analyst II to support stores with assortment and inventory management, aiming to maximize sales, margins, and turnover. You will partner with planning to develop and manage retail store allocation plans.

This hybrid role is based at our headquarters near Portland, Oregon, with on-site four days per week as current policy, subject to business needs. Collaboration with merchants and store managers is key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of allocation/planning experience preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with allocation tools.

Responsibilities

• Executes assortment by distribution of product according to plan and monitors inventory productivity.
• Manages overall inventory levels for each store, including openings and events.
• Maintains balance by department per plan or sales trends down to SKU level.
• Analyzes sales-to-stock ratios to ensure proper distribution and reorders.
• Tracks sell-through, store inventories, DC stock, and future forecasts.
• Ensures timely and balanced receipt flows into stores.
• Communicates product needs and delivery dates with store management and merchants.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
