Job summary

vTech Solution seeks an AI Solutions Architect (Contractor) to lead secure, scalable AI and Agentic AI implementations for AZ DES. Hybrid role; collaborate with teams, vendors, and legal to scale DES AI capabilities while meeting state security and data governance standards.

The role requires designing architectures, providing technical leadership, and delivering roadmaps for expanded AI programs in a public-sector context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• Experience with Agentic AI, Azure OpenAI LLM, ML, RAG, and LHoW workflows.
• Proficiency in .NET, HTML/JavaScript, and automation tools like OCR/IDP.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into AI architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of AI and Agentic AI solutions for DES.
• Define end-to-end AI architectures including data ingestion and RAG pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to teams.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and data governance.
• Establish reference architectures and best practices for responsible AI use.
• Collaborate with DevOps, cybersecurity, and data teams to productionize AI.
