You will collaborate with engineers and strategists to translate breakthroughs into practical solutions, while contributing to workshops, talks, and community presence across the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 0 years.
• Experience with LLM pre-training and post-training in industry or academic labs.
• Minimum of 3 publications in top AI venues (ACL, EMNLP, ICLR, ICML, NAACL, NeurIPS).
• Experience with MLMs and related frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
• Prior experience driving research projects in industry or university labs (full-time, internship, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Produce research advances in Generative AI for networking automation, HCI, model safety, or other gen-AI areas.
• Research domain-specific foundational representations for networking with differentiative value.
• Publish papers and give talks to contribute to the global research community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into business solutions.
• Establish Cisco as a global thought leader through top-tier publications.
