WRITER is seeking an AI Research Scientist to drive a high-impact agenda on large language models, agentic reasoning, and system-level capabilities for enterprise deployments. You’ll influence post-training, planning, and multi-step tasks, delivering research that ships into products used by thousands daily.

You’ll have resources and cross-functional support, work a hybrid model from SF/NYC hubs, and report to the VP of AI Research, helping grow a team focused on rigorous experimentation,

Competenze

• 7 years of hands-on ML research experience with large language model pre-training and post-training
• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or equivalent research experience with published work
• Expert-level knowledge of post-training methods including SFT, RLHF, RLAIF, DPO and related techniques
• Strong Python and PyTorch (or JAX) skills to build and scale training pipelines and evaluation
• A meaningful publication record at top ML/AI venues demonstrating independent research
• Hands-on experience designing or evaluating agentic systems with multi-step reasoning and tool use

• Lead a high-impact research agenda on LLMs and agentic systems from hypothesis to deployment
• Design and run large-scale post-training experiments using SFT, RLHF, RLAIF, DPO, and similar methods
• Develop evaluation benchmarks and methodologies for enterprise tasks

• Shape model architecture and training roadmap with cross-functional teams
