WRITER is seeking an AI engineer to shape enterprise AI, deploying scalable ML systems and intelligent agents. You will work across teams to translate research into production-ready features and ensure ethical alignment in our LLM-powered platform.

The role supports hybrid work in our hubs across San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle, reporting to the head of AI engineering. Strong collaboration and robust coding standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building and deploying ML systems in production.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
• Strong ML fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and NLP including LLMs.
• Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps tools for managing the AI lifecycle.
• Ability to write clean, well-tested code and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable AI applications into production.
• Drive the development of intelligent agents and AI-powered features.
• Collaborate with research scientists, data scientists, and product managers to define requirements.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies to maintain leadership in enterprise AI.
• Champion responsible AI practices including bias detection, explainability, and safety alignment.
