Motion Recruitment in Raleigh, NC is seeking an AI Prompt Engineer on a 12-month contract to advance Generative AI for security testing, threat analysis, and vulnerability research. This role emphasizes execution, rapid iteration, and real-world security outcomes, with a hybrid schedule three days onsite.

You will design prompts, build AI harnesses, evaluate model outputs, and collaborate with security and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI-driven security workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs for security use cases.
• Ability to design and implement advanced prompts for complex security tasks.
• Experience building AI workflows or model interaction layers.
• Strong cybersecurity foundation including vulnerabilities and threat analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced prompts to enhance AI performance for cybersecurity-focused applications.
• Create and maintain AI harnesses to support testing, research, and security analysis.
• Improve prompt effectiveness through experimentation and benchmarking.
• Support AI initiatives related to vulnerability identification and risk assessment.
• Analyze outputs from large language models to identify valuable findings.
• Collaborate with security professionals to align AI work with business needs.
• Develop repeatable AI workflows to support security operations.
• Research new prompting approaches and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
• Ensure AI-generated insights can be captured, and used by technical teams.
