Job summary

eTelligent Group seeks an experienced AI/ML architect to lead the NIH ZTA Use Case identification and development program. You will define risk and trust scoring on security telemetry, design data flows and enforcement policies, and collaborate with NIH OCIO to ensure governance and data integrity.

This role requires strong Python/ML skills, experience with security telemetry, and eligibility for NIH suitability and PIV credential. Hybrid work at NIH Bethesda is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field plus 8+ years of experience, including AI/ML use-case design.
• Experience designing risk or trust-scoring models on security telemetry (identity, endpoint, network, or SIEM data).
• Hands-on Python and ML framework experience.
• Ability to obtain NIH suitability determination and a PIV credential; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a six-week discovery with ISAO, GRC, OITA, and CIT to build the AI Use Case Inventory across ZTA pillars.
• Score each use case on risk reduction, feasibility with NIH telemetry, mission impact, and data-governance readiness.
• Record NIST AI RMF 1.0 function mappings and data classifications for each use case.
• Produce AI technical architectures: data-flow diagrams, model requirements, and policy-as-code for enforcement.
• Design use cases such as continuous authentication risk scoring and device risk classification.
