eTel seeks a senior technologist to lead AI-enabled Zero Trust use-case identification and development for NIH OCIO. You will drive discovery, scoring, and architecture across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with NIH AI and data governance rules.

The role emphasizes data-flow design, policy-as-code, and measuring impact, with hybrid on-site work at NIH Bethesda and required NIH suitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related field.
8+ years of experience, including AI/ML use-case design.
Experience designing risk or trust-scoring models on security telemetry.
Working knowledge of the NIST AI RMF 1.0 and federal AI governance.
Hands-on Python and ML framework experience.
Ability to obtain NIH suitability determination and PIV credential; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Lead a six-week discovery with ISAO, GRC, OITA, and CIT to build the AI Use Case Inventory.
Score each use case on risk reduction, feasibility, mission impact, and data-governance readiness.
Record for each use case its NIST AI RMF function, data classification, and human-in-the-loop requirement.
Produce AI technical architectures: data-flow diagrams and model requirements and policy-as-code.
Design use cases such as continuous authentication risk scoring and UEBA for insider risk.
Extend Zero Trust to AI agents and copilots with authorization and data-leakage controls.
Define and run the Subtask 3.3 measurement protocol and evaluate deployment decisions.
