Job summary

eTelligent Group LLC seeks a Senior Zero Trust Security Architect for Special Projects in a hybrid role, working with NIH-focused ZTA initiatives. You will drive architecture, analysis, and implementation support for NIH-wide security projects, guiding technical teams and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in security architecture/engineering, strong ICAM and cloud security experience, and CISSP or equivalent certification, with ability to obtain NIH suitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 10+ years in security architecture/engineering with Zero Trust in federal hybrid or cloud environments.
• Hands-on ICAM, micro-segmentation, cloud security and policy enforcement experience.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF, SP 800-53 Rev 5, and control inheritance.
• CISSP or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform architecture and gap analyses against NIH references and ZTA models; develop options with recommendations.
• Support IC-specific adoption of NIH reference architectures and pilots of AI-enabled ZTA use cases.
• Develop implementation plans, design documents, and configuration guidance; assist testing and validation.
• Assess design impact on control inheritance, authorization, and continuous monitoring evidence.
• Brief technical/leadership stakeholders and contribute to planning briefs and closeout memos.
