Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Director of AI/ML Platforms to drive the enterprise AI/ML platform strategy and multi-year roadmap. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee delivery and operation of the AI platform portfolio, and partner with finance, legal, and security to ensure compliant, scalable solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in software/AI platforms, 3+ years of leadership, and deep experience with Databricks, MLflow, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering and AI/ML platform experience.
3+ years leading managers or senior engineering teams.
Deep technical judgment across Databricks, MLflow, and cloud-native AI services.
Experience with LLMOps, model governance, and secure access patterns.
Ability to lead platform products in a regulated enterprise and communicate with executives.
Bonus: payments/fintech domain knowledge and model risk considerations.

Responsibilities

Execute the enterprise AI/ML platform strategy and multi-year roadmap.
Lead delivery and operation of the AI platform portfolio with measurable outcomes.
Build and lead a high-performing team of AI platform engineers and product leaders.
Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and executive stakeholder communications.
Ensure security, governance, privacy, and audit requirements are automated in workflows.
