Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is hiring an AI/ML Engineer – Post-Deployment Governance. You will translate governance policy into functional requirements for TRex, dashboards, and related governance technology, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure traceability, evidence lineage, and compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, health science, or a related field with 1 year experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Experience applying AI and machine learning in production environments or similar regulated healthcare tech.
• Skill in cloud infrastructure environment and software development tools.
• Experience with large, complex, and heterogeneous data sets, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and ability to communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and prioritize requirements from policy reviews and governance priorities, maintain a traceable backlog and roadmap.
• Translate governance policy and evidence needs into user stories, data definitions, and acceptance criteria.
• Define reusable TRex content models and evidence objects preserving traceability across metrics and versions.
• Develop dashboard and portfolio-reporting requirements supporting PDRS status and governance visibility.
• Review content and evidence prepared by governance teams, document corrections and changes as needed.
• Partner with governance tech on feasibility, prototypes, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
• Perform governance acceptance of workflows, dashboards, and reporting features with defect tracing and release conditions.
• Convert recurring findings into scalable patterns and communicate requirements clearly.
