Job summary

WiseHR Group is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer for an AI-first, specification-driven role focused on building and operating reliable cloud-based SaaS systems. The candidate will design, implement, test, and maintain scalable software with emphasis on architecture, security, and production reliability in a hybrid in-office setting in Utah.

Responsibilities include developing services and APIs using Go, Python, TypeScript, and contributing to SaaS architectures with high uptime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with at least one of Go, Java, Python, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Ability to understand and work from technical specifications and design documents.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with some in-office time.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production software for cloud-based SaaS platforms.
• Work in an AI-first development workflow, leveraging AI tools to develop and test reliable systems.
• Develop services, APIs, automation, and tooling using Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Build and operate cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Helm and Terraform.
