Job summary

Blockstream seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with leaders across the company, delivering strategic financial insights and actionable analysis. You will translate on-chain metrics and traditional financials into narratives that guide decision-making in a fast-growing crypto business.

You’ll lead forecasting, modeling, and investor reporting, while embedding AI-enabled workflows to automate FP&A tasks. The role is hybrid with 2–3 days in the Los Angeles office.

Qualifications

• Strong background in strategic finance, FP&A or corporate finance.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, GPT, Gemini) to automate workflows.
• Advanced financial modeling in Excel/Sheets; build scenario models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for board narratives.
• Highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Understanding of Bitcoin and crypto markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead rolling forecasts, annual planning, and scenario modeling.
• Build and maintain financial models for fundraising and M&A evaluations.
• Own board materials and investor reporting with KPI narratives.
• Drive monthly business reviews with executives linking Finance, Product, Eng, and BD.
• Design AI-assisted FP&A workflows to automate recurring processes.
• Identify where LLMs can replace low-value labor and build infra.
