Job summary

Sift is hiring a Software Engineer, Full Stack to build agentic AI capabilities that analyze telemetry and guide hardware engineering decisions. You will own frontend, API surfaces, and production systems, collaborating with customers to define features and scale tools across environments.

You’ll work on dashboards, tool interfaces, sandboxed execution, and guardrails for agents, while advancing observability and performance of the MCP server and related services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Own a product area: talk to customers, decide what to build, ship it.
• Frontend web apps with React/NextJS or similar.
• APIs (REST, gRPC) or backend services with Go, Python, Rust, or similar.
• Curious about new AI products and eager to experiment with agents and features.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer telemetry review workflows into agent capabilities: dashboards and analysis scripts.
• Build and operate dependable agents, including tools, sandboxed execution, context management, and guardrails.
• Develop APIs, frontend surfaces, evaluations, and production observability for agent workloads.
• Work across the full stack, including frontend surfaces and API design.
• Run agents reliably at scale, in the cloud and on-prem.
• Build evaluation suites to measure agent usefulness, latency, cost and failure modes.
• Integrate frontier models across providers.
