Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Principal AI and Machine Learning Engineer (Finance) in a hybrid role, requiring you to work 2 days per week from an HPE office in California. You will plan, execute, and analyze benchmarks on switches to optimize AI/ML network operations, guiding AI workload deployments from test planning through execution.

You will document PoC architectures, methodologies, and results while using SONiC, Junos, Ansible, Python, Bash, and Git to implement advanced features

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience or Master's with 4+ years.
• Proficiency in Python for automation.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VxLAN, IPv6.
• Experience with traffic tools such as Spirent, IXIA.
• Docker or Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with network testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and analyze AI/ML benchmarks on switches.
• Guide AI/ML workload deployments from scoping to testing.
• Develop AI-driven automation for network development and operations.
• Validate switch OS features including QoS, ECMP, telemetry, and routing.
