The role focuses on reviewing, processing, and tracking quotes for National Sales Managers, maintaining price accuracy, and coordinating with internal teams to drive exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering or equivalent education (preferred) and experience.
• Three or more years of sales support experience, preferably in Automotive, Municipalities/Utilities, Industrial Fasteners, and/or Marine markets.
• Superior analytical ability to evaluate markets and develop the business case for potential products or markets.
• Advanced knowledge in spreadsheets, Power Point, and other traditional Microsoft Office applications. Excel, and AS400 experience is strongly preferred.
• Keen understanding of measurements used in manufacturing, fractions and decimals.
• Organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and multi-task.
• Inter-personal skills to work with coworkers, customers, and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Quote pricing and details to customers and internal teams.
• Work in a team environment supporting sales managers and Aftermarket personnel.
• Maintain price master and customer master changes in the system.
• Develop quotes for potential new customers and manage new account setup.
• Review competitive pricing and interchanges for customers.
• Interpret customer prints to develop quotes.
• Perform pricing and gross margin analysis by customer.
