Job summary

Halian is seeking an experienced AEM Architect to lead design, governance, and implementation of enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Manager solutions in a hybrid Plainsboro, NJ setting.

In this role you will drive architecture decisions, mentor developers, and collaborate with cloud, API, and QA teams to deliver scalable digital experiences while ensuring security, accessibility, and performance across a large portfolio of websites.

Qualifications

• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture design and implementation.
• Leadership of large-scale AEM migrations and transformations.
• Proficiency in .NET development and architecture.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools and modern deployment.
• Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise API integrations.
• Strong governance, security, accessibility, and performance practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AEM architecture including Sites, Assets, and integrations.
• Lead migration from AEM On-Premise to AEM Cloud Service.
• Define scalable architecture, standards, and governance.
• Modernize legacy components into reusable libraries.
• Collaborate with cloud, API, and engineering teams to align front-end experiences with enterprise services.
• Design content governance, tagging strategies, metadata models, and authoring workflows.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, deployment practices, and release processes.
• Partner with QA to ensure test automation, accessibility, and performance.
• Drive security, privacy, and compliance best practices across the platform.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and operational excellence standards.
• Mentor developers and conduct design reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
