Zusammenfassung

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to support a growing Florence Pulmonology/ICU program. The role involves inpatient, outpatient, and critical care responsibilities under physician supervision, with a hybrid schedule and opportunities to contribute to team-driven care.

The selected APP will manage direct patient care, participate in policy implementation, and help develop protocols while maintaining licensure, ACLS, and related certifications as required by MUSC

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.
• Acute Care NP or Family NP candidates must be licensed or eligible, with prior hospital medicine/ICU experience preferred.
• Currently licensed (or eligible) in SC as PA by SC Board of Medical Examiners or Acute Care NP by SC Board of Nursing.
• Requires ACLS certification; if not current, must enroll and obtain certificate by start date.
• APRN or PA must maintain licenses, certifications, CME requirements as required by policy and state law.
• DHEC and DEA license.

Aufgaben

• Hybrid Model: 1 week inpatient, 1 week outpatient/clinic, 1 week ICU, 1 week off.
• Provides inpatient, outpatient, procedural care per practice guidelines and scope.
• Initiates referrals and collaborates with attending/collaborating physician.
• Documents and bills for direct care provided.
• May precept students and support learning of new team members.
