Job summary

Somerset Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor for Anatomy & Physiology to teach in a hybrid setting, helping students engage with general education courses in the division. Positions are temporary and used to fill classroom vacancies as needed.

The successful candidate will deliver quality instruction, provide timely feedback, monitor attendance, and record grades, with experience using Blackboard preferred. A Master’s degree and relevant hours are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline from an accredited program.
• Experience using Blackboard (or similar learning management system) for delivering classes is recommended.
• Previous teaching experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality instruction with student-instructor interaction and timely feedback.
• Monitor progress/attendance and record grades and submit reports.
• Empower students to engage in learning and support general education courses in the division.
