What you’ll be able to do: ADAS Virtual Validation Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Research and develop tools to emulate and virtualize automotive Electronic Control Units used for ADAS sensor processing and feature execution. Develop and execute virtualization tool validation methodologies leveraging vehicle test data. Integrate ADAS software virtualization methods into full vehicle open and closed-loop simulations. Assist ADAS software and feature developers design, verify and validate new ADAS features in a virtual setting. Support development and execution of software unit verification in MiL/SiL/HiL environments. Support software integration testing in SiL and HiL environments. Support transition of physical vehicle testing to simulation-based virtual methods.
You’ll have... Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. C++ software development. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. ADAS simulation development and execution experience. 2. Developing ADAS and Autonomy enablers including camera, radar, ultrasonic and LiDAR sensing, sensor fusion, image processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning. 3. Implementing data acquisition of vehicle networks and ECU internal data. 4. Integrating SPI, Ethernet (TCP/IP), and CAN communication in a virtual environment. 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Developing ADAS and Autonomy software. 2. Integrating AUTOSAR Classic software components into virtual verification and validation environments.
We are offering a salary of$147,077.00 - $169,530.72/yr.
