AFMIC American Family Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. in Madison, WI is seeking an actuarial pricing professional to support pricing and ratemaking for an assigned line of business. The role analyzes loss, premium, and expense experience, builds models, and assists in rate filings and pricing discussions.

Candidates should have actuarial experience, Excel proficiency, and knowledge of SQL/SAS/Python. This hybrid position offers relocation support and competitive compensation within $80k–$131k

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in actuarial pricing and ratemaking for an assigned line of business.
• Strong background in analyzing loss, premium, and expense data using statistical methods.
• Proficiency in Excel and at least one programming or query language (SQL/SAS, Python, R, VBA).
• Actively pursuing ACAS/FCAS designation with exams in progress.
• Minimum 2 years of actuarial pricing experience; P&C pricing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conducts experience analyses and summarizes findings to support pricing strategy.
• Supports competitive and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Assists with actuarial modeling to quantify risk and evaluate pricing options.
• Supports rate filings with state departments, including documentation and responses.
• Prepares analyses and materials for pricing meetings and stakeholder discussions.
• Assists in developing, enhancing, and maintaining pricing tools and reports.
• Contributes to pricing analyses for new products and coverage enhancements.
