Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a quantitative, technical, business, or similar field relevant to actuarial practice.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, advanced formulas, data validation, lookup functions, and data analysis techniques.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Leadership experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and self-motivation.
• Interest in learning programming languages, data analysis tools, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to actuarial projects in pricing/product development, reserve calculations, modeling, financial analysis, ALM, or investments.
• Collaborate with experienced actuaries across different areas of actuarial practice.
• Attend learning presentations on key actuarial topics led by subject matter experts.
• Prepare and present completed projects and business contributions to actuarial leaders and stakeholders.
• Participate in professional development, networking events, and summer activities.
