Job summary

Location Services is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a hybrid role in Indianapolis, IN. You will process, verify and reconcile invoices, manage 1099s, and support month-end close with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, strong MS Office skills, and preferably Sage Intacct familiarity. This is a full-time position with flexible hours based on business needs and a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years accounts payables or general accounting.
• Experience with month end close of AP including journal entry and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Sage Intacct experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, invoices, statements, etc.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
• Pays vendors by verifying federal ID numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving discrepancies
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
• 1099 maintenance
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
