Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Rosemont, IL is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the accounting team with invoice processing, coding, and vendor communications. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will reconcile invoices, verify accuracy against purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and maintain AP compliance while supporting audits and month-end close.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and AP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort, code, and match invoices through the AP system.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and balances.
• Review payable invoices for accuracy and match to PO for authorization.
• Resolve invoice or payment discrepancies and secure credits for memos.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.
• Set invoices up for payment and post to the system.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with AP policies and procedures.
