Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Rosemont, IL is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a dynamic accounting team. You will sort, code, and match invoices, reconcile entries, verify vendor accounts, and post invoices in our ERP system.

The role is hybrid (HQ-based) with opportunities to grow in accounting. Requirements include 2–4 years AP experience, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes. Competitive pay and a robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Computer literate with Excel proficiency.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle high daily volumes.
• Knowledge of AP systems; Oracle ERP and AP Express preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, code, and match invoices through the AP system.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and balances.
• Review payable invoices for accuracy and PO alignment.
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure credits are received.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling statements.
• Set invoices up for payment; post invoices to ERP.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain documentation.
• Assist audits with supporting documentation.

The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $43,200 - $61,200 annually.This role is categorized as non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities.
