Job summary

Accounting Manager needed for a well established regional CPA firm offering a hybrid schedule. You will specialize in client accounting, full charge bookkeeping, payroll, KPI reporting, and more, overseeing teams to ensure engagements meet scope and deadlines.

Responsibilities include supervision of seniors, staff and interns, plus involvement in business development and client proposals. Strong English, GAAP knowledge, and Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in accounting; senior or manager track.
• Thorough understanding of double-entry accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and basic tax concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Fluent business-level English communication.
• Willingness to travel to client or firm locations.
• Proficiency in Excel and at least one accounting software (QuickBooks Online).
• Self-starter with ability to work in teams and independently.
• Occasional overtime expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple engagements, ensuring adherence to scope and timelines.
• Maintain client communications and supervise engagement teams.
• Delegate tasks to staff and interns; provide supervision and training.
• Engage in business development and client proposals.
