Job summary

Brilliant® is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager Consultant for a hybrid role in the Chicago area. The role provides hands-on leadership across fixed assets, payroll and benefits accounting, and management reporting, with close collaboration to auditors and cross-functional teams.

You will supervise a team of 9 accounting professionals via 3 direct-reporting Supervisors, support monthly and quarterly closes, prepare footnotes, and drive process improvements while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field.
• Hands-on fixed asset accounting and payroll accounting required.
• Experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting activities related to fixed assets and payroll & benefits.
• Manage a team of 9 accounting professionals through 3 direct-reporting Supervisors.
• Review accuracy and timeliness of accounting deliverables.
• Support monthly and quarterly close and reporting deadlines.
• Coordinate internal/external audit requests and documentation.
• Partner with Director to maintain processes and policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
