Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand GAAP and FERC accounting guidance and operational matters affecting the close cycle.
• Review month-end deliverables (primarily journal entries).
• Review account reconciliations and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Ensure SOX control structure is in place and monitored for the close and reporting processes.
• Prepare or review documentation for accounting conclusions on accounting matters.
• Lead and coach internal staff and offshore team on accounting processes.
• Support regulatory filings including rate cases and rider filings.
