Job summary

Bishop Street Underwriters is seeking an Accounting Director in a fast-growing, PE-backed environment. You will lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, ensure accuracy of financial reporting, and manage intercompany accounting across multiple entities.

The role involves integration of acquisitions and improving accounting controls. Ideal candidates are technically strong, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to operate with urgency in a high-growth setting.

Qualifications

• Technically strong accounting professional with GAAP expertise.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Able to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes with timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries with GAAP adherence and proper documentation.
• Prepare and review reconciliations and intercompany settlements across entities.
• Oversee account roll forwards and intercompany balances.
• Support audits with external advisors and prepare required reporting.
• Assist with integration and cleanup of acquired companies.
