Birge & Held Group LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Accounting Associate to support month-end close and lender reimbursement submissions. The role reports to the Vice President of Asset Accounting and requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of experience.
• Ability to give/receive critical feedback.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel required.
• Ability to use email/phone/fax/scan effectively.
• Willing to work long hours to meet deadlines (month-end close week).
• Ability to complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Responsabilités

• Perform month-end close duties.
• Lender escrow analysis and prepaid/ accrued expense analysis.
• Balance Sheet adjustments and journal entries.
• Bank reconciliations for operating/savings/entity accounts.
• Management fee calculation and invoicing.
• General Ledger and Operating Statement review.
• Monthly/quarterly reimbursement submissions to lenders.
