Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC in Holland, MI is seeking an Accountant to own general accounting and corporate tax functions for a Hitachi-affiliated automation leader. This hybrid role partners with FP&A, Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in accounting/tax within a large multi-entity organization, experience with ERP systems, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting and tax experience.
• Experience in a large, multi-entity organization.
• ERP system experience: SAP, Epicor, EcoSys or similar.
• Experience partnering with tax reporting agencies.
• Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Own general accounting and corporate tax functions for a multi-entity organization.
• Support general ledger and trial balance, journal entries, and IFRS classifications.
• Coordinate financial close activities across entity leads to meet reporting deadlines.
• Oversee sales/use tax obligations across North American entities; annual filings and registrations.
• Maintain VAT/GST/HST activities; cross-border transactions support; audits readiness.
