Weber Shandwick, a leading global PR agency, is seeking an Account Director to lead client experience in a hybrid New York, NY role. You will quarterback day-to-day communications, manage cross-functional teams, and translate culture and sports entertainment trends into strategic opportunities for iconic brands.

You will build trusted client relationships, oversee integrated campaigns from concept to completion, and ensure alignment across earned, social, creative, and strategy teams.

• Help quarterback the business, own day-to-day client communications and relationships, and keep agency partners and internal teams aligned toward great work.
• Identify opportunities across sports, entertainment, music, fandom, media and internet culture where the brand can show up and make an impact.
• Be the client’s go-to, building trusted relationships and providing updates, solutions, or gut checks on opportunities.
• Execute integrated campaigns from idea to reality, managing creative development to earned media execution.
• Know the client’s brand, marketing priorities and business challenges to proactively add value.
• Know fandom: understand sports personalities, rivalries, rituals, memes and behaviors that elevate the brand.
• Think social-first and earned-forward, making ideas travel on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, podcasts and creators.
• Keep the trains running: manage timelines, budgets, scopes, staffing and deliverables with high quality.
• Grow great teams: mentor talent, provide direction and foster ambition.
