You will ensure inclusive design, comply with WCAG/ADA/Section 508, and collaborate with developers and content creators to embed accessibility best practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT/CS/etc. with 4+ years of related experience, and familiarity with tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, information science, CS, information design, HCI, graphic design, or equivalent with 4+ years related experience.
• Professional certifications like CPACC, WAS, CPWA, ADS, 508 tester, Adobe Certified, Google UX Design are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce digital solutions for the CCAC website, portal, mobile app, and ITS platforms using Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
• Ensure all digital platforms comply with WCAG 2.2 and ADA accessibility standards; conduct automated and manual testing.
• Provide consultation, guidance, and training on accessibility best practices to content owners.
• Maintain and update CCAC brand standards and accessibility checklists with the web operations team.
• Review and remediate PDFs and other digital documents for accessibility using Acrobat and related tools.
• Test accessibility with assistive technologies and keyboard navigation; document findings.
• Collaborate with marketing, ITS, and content stakeholders to ensure brand and accessibility consistency.
• Identify and resolve accessibility barriers; document solutions and maintain process guidelines.
• Participate in UX/UI reviews to prioritize inclusive, user-centric experiences.
• Support accessibility reviews of third-party tools and integrations used across the website and apps.
• Communicate updates on accessibility improvements to content owners and teams.
• Perform other related duties as required.
